AIGA's Get Out the Vote: 2008 Poster Design

0

The AIGA’s Design For Democracy is one of the coolest ways for designers to get involved in this year’s elections. Now, you have to be an AIGA member to participate in this particular call to action, but I highly recommend joining the AIGA for many other reasons. (search through my blog for that post).

I won’t go into my own personal opinions too much, because there is a time and a place for politics, and I’m not sure it’s here. I will say this, though: no one I know approves of the way this country is currently operated. Certainly not small business operators like myself. I’m not pleased, and I plan to vote according to which Candidate resembles my family’s needs the best. Common sense, really. It can also be much simpler: don’t vote, can’t bitch.

I’m hoping to submit a poster design later this week, since we’re gearing up for a few other contests. I’ll post a link to my design when I see it on there.

For you designers, Here’s the Link
